Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of lagom-hammock.com (the “Site”) and any purchase you make through it. By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

LAGOM Retreats (“LAGOM,” “we,” “us,” “our”) designs and hand-crafts hammocks in Georgia, sold primarily to customers in Norway, Sweden, and across Europe. You can reach us at shop@lagom-hammock.com.

Each hammock is handwoven, so small variations in weave, color, and finish between the product photos and the item you receive are normal and are not considered defects. We describe each product as accurately as we can, including materials, dimensions, and weight capacity, on its product page.

When you place an order, you’ll receive an order confirmation by email — this confirms we’ve received your order, not that we’ve accepted it. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order (for example, if an item is out of stock, if there’s a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud), in which case we’ll notify you and refund any payment already taken.

All prices are shown in the currency of your local storefront (NOK for Norway, SEK for Sweden) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs, where applicable, are shown at checkout before you complete your purchase. We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct, but if we discover a pricing error after you’ve ordered, we’ll contact you before processing the order.

We ship from our workshop in Georgia to Norway and Sweden, typically within 5–7 business days. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees — factors like customs processing or courier delays are outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you once the item is delivered to the address you provided.

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase and return your item under the terms set out in our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Hammocks made to your specification (custom monograms, embroidery, bespoke color or fabric combinations) are excluded from the standard right of withdrawal, as described in our Return & Refund Policy, since they are made specifically for you.

If your hammock arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, you’re entitled to a remedy under statutory consumer guarantee rights, in addition to anything set out in our Return & Refund Policy. Please contact us at shop@lagom-hammock.com with your order number and photos of the issue.

All content on this Site — including text, photos, logos, and design — belongs to LAGOM or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use it commercially without our written permission.

To the extent permitted by law, LAGOM is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Site or your purchase, except where such liability cannot be excluded under EU/EEA consumer protection law (for example, in relation to death, personal injury, or statutory consumer guarantees).

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The version in effect at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country of residence within the EU/EEA, to the extent required by mandatory consumer protection law. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at shop@lagom-hammock.com so we can try to resolve it directly. EU residents can also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.
